Description
Nos. 49 and 50 North Brink are an early 19th-century pair of houses that share a common facade. They feature an elliptical arched cartway located to the right of center. Constructed from local brown brick, the houses have a slate roof with two ridge stacks and one end stack on the south-west side. The buildings are two storeys high with attics and have outshuts at the rear.
There are four dormer windows with horizontal sliding sashes that include glazing bars. On the first floor, there are eight paired windows, two of which are blind, all set within cambered gauged brick arches and stone cills. Two of the windows retain small panes of original bull nose glass. The ground floor has four recessed hung sash windows with glazing bars, also in similar arches. The entrance features two doors, with the right-hand door being four-panelled and framed by an architraved wooden doorcase.
