Description

The Arts Theatre, located at 6 Peas Hill, is a Grade II listed building dating from the early 19th century. It stands four storeys tall and is constructed of gault brick, featuring stone bands at the cill levels of the upper floor windows and a moulded cornice below the parapet. The ground floor has a modern entrance to the theatre, while the upper floors each contain two windows with flat rubbed brick arches and glazing bars. The western part of the building is significantly older, with a dated gable pendant from 1661 indicating a remodelling. The roof is not visible.
