Description

No. 11 Peas Hill is a late 16th century to early 17th century building that is timber-framed and plastered. However, most of its features are from the late 19th century, including a modern shopfront. The building has three storeys and an attic, with both upper storeys jettied; the second storey is supported by late 19th century console brackets. There are two 19th century sash windows and one attic dormer. The roof is covered with old tiles, and there is an archway at the rear. The building has a 17th century east wing and an 18th century south wing. Nos. 10 and 11 Peas Hill form a group with Nos. 1 to 3 Wheeler Street.
