Description
No. 10 Peas Hill is a building dating from around 1830. It stands three storeys high with attics, constructed of gault brick and featuring stone dressing. The slate mansard roof has a front that is divided into three bays, with the middle bay slightly projecting. The ground floor has been refaced with rusticated stone, while the upper floor is flanked by fluted stone Doric pilasters that support a Doric entablature. There are three windows with flat brick arches and glazing bars, along with three flat-topped dormers. Inside, there are two Greek fireplace surrounds. No. 10 forms part of a group with Nos. 11 to 3 (consecutive) on Wheeler Street.
