Shops and theatre. Early C20. Stone and brick, 5 storeys with mezzanine and attic. 6 bays with canted corner bays and 5 bays to School Lane. Later ground floor. Mezzanine have small-paned casements between flat pilasters, entablature over. Round-headed window to 1st floor. 3 upper storeys of brick with carved capitals to flat pilasters. Round attic windows with wreaths. Rich top cornice with dentils and modillions. Interior of theatre (above music shop) has panelled ceiling, walls with fluted Ionic pilasters, modillioned cornices and busts in wreaths and urns over doors; lower parts of walls panelled in mahogany with Greek key frieze; balcony on fluted Ionic antae. Open well entrance staircase with turned balusters, and 3 orders of columns to right.
