Description

No. 12 Church Lane is a house dating from the 11th century. It features a colourwashed roughcast exterior over a timber frame and has a thatched roof. The building has a three-room plan and is two storeys high. The road-facing side has two 2-light casement windows with glazing bars on each floor. The east gable end includes a 20th-century porch and a 2-light casement window with glazing bars on the first floor. There is one ridge stack and one integral gable end stack, both of which were rebuilt in 19th-century brick.
