Description
Hill Farmhouse is a house dating from the 16th and 17th centuries. It is timber framed and has a colourwashed roughcast render, with clay tile roofs. The building has a T-plan layout, with later lower gabled blocks added to the west and southeast. It stands two storeys tall.
On the north elevation, the left-hand block features one ground floor window and two first floor windows, all of which are 2-light casements with glazing bars. The cross-wing has one window on each floor, both of which are casements with top lights and glazing bars. The right-hand block contains a 2-light leaded casement. Additionally, the left-hand block has a part-glazed door next to the cross-wing. A substantial red brick ridge stack is located at the junction of the left-hand block and the cross-wing.
