Description
No 88 High Street is a house, formerly known as College Farmhouse, dating from the 18th century with later alterations. It features colourwashed render, likely over brick, and has a clay tile roof. The building has a three-window range across two storeys and attics. On the ground floor, there are 20th-century sash windows with glazing bars, with the central window replacing a former doorway. The first floor has three-light casements, while the attic includes three gabled dormers, each with two-light casements. There are chimney stacks at both gable ends, with the left-hand one being integral and the right-hand one external. A 20th-century lower block is attached to the right, with a front door that has been relocated from the main block. The entrance features a six-panel door topped by a semicircular fanlight with ornamental glazing bars.
