Description

No. 3 Church Lane is a house dated 1829, featuring colourwashed roughcast render over a timber frame and a hipped thatched roof. The building is designed in a loosely picturesque style and has a two-room plan across two storeys. The first floor retains three-light windows, each with pointed-arched lights. On the ground floor, there is a two-light casement window to the left and a canted bay window to the right. The central entrance has a six-panel door topped with a gabled bracketed hood. A central chimney stack is adorned with paired diagonal brick shafts. This house is included for its group value.
