KNOTTING AND SOULDROP KNOTTING TL 06SW 3/227 War Memorial - GV II

Great War Memorial in limestone with minature shrine on column. Four sided shrine with gabled roof and corner buttresses and four figures in sides. It sits on cherub heads and wings forming the top of a long octagonal column on a square base with four quatrefoils on each side, itself on a two-stepped octagonal plinth. In St Margaret's churchyard and listed for group value.
