Description
Knotting Green Farmhouse is a late 16th century or early 17th century farmhouse that has 19th century extensions. It is constructed of red brick in an early English bond pattern and features a modern clay tile roof. The original building is designed in a T-plan, with a 19th century extension at one angle and a porch at the other. The farmhouse has two storeys and attics, with a 19th century dentil eaves course and a storey band. The windows are 19th century, featuring 2 and 3-light casements with glazing bars set under cambered heads. The main original wing includes a central brick stack that serves back-to-back fireplaces. The porch has a stone coped gable and a parapet.
