Description

A terrace of four estate cottages built in 1861 as part of the Bedford Estate. The cottages are constructed of red brick with an old clay tile roof and a slate ridge. Entrances are located on the side and at the front, though the front doors have been repositioned. There are three brick stacks. The two-storey front elevation features a row of six gables; the second and fifth are smaller, acting as dormers that extend halfway across the eaves. Each dormer has a two-light casement window with lattice diagonal glazing bars. The ground floor windows are similar, but the two outer windows have three lights. All windows and doors have arched tops.
