Description
Strawberry Hill Cottages is a pair of cottages from the Bedford Estate, dated 1868, located in Knotting Green. They are constructed of red brick, featuring a blue brick band at the level of the window heads, and have an old clay tile roof. The cottages are one storey with attics and have a large central brick chimney stack that includes a dentil brick course. The front elevation is symmetrical, with the front doors positioned on the outside and supported by sloping porches with straight brackets. Each cottage has two 3-light casement windows set beneath cambered heads. The roof includes modern box dormers, and there is a modern extension at the rear.
