Description
Knotting Fox Farmhouse is an 18th-century former inn built from coursed limestone rubble, featuring a machine tile roof and red brick gable end stacks. The building has two storeys and attics, with a symmetrical front elevation that includes two gabled dormers with casements and two casement windows on both the ground and first floors. The central front door is accessed by two steps and is topped with a flat hood supported by cut brackets, while there is a blocked first floor window above it. At the rear, there is a 19th-century wing that forms a T-plan, constructed in red brick, which is one storey high with attics, featuring one gabled dormer and two casement windows. There is also a modern extension at right angles to the main front block.
