Description
Manor Farmhouse is a farmhouse that dates from the 18th century and the mid-19th century. It is a two-storey, rendered L-shaped building, with an older section located to the north-east, likely built around 1774 when the Manor was sold to the Duke of Bedford. The main part of the farmhouse is from the mid-19th century and features three bays on the north-west side. It has glazing bar sash windows, with the middle window being blind, situated above a pilastered doorcase that includes a panelled door and a patterned rectangular fanlight. The farmhouse has projecting eaves and a slate roof that is hipped at the south-west end, along with two off-ridge brick chimneys. On the south-west side, there are two ranges of matching windows. The older section has a tiled roof with a steeper pitch and two brick chimneys, one located at the north-west gable end. The ground floor window on the south-west side is a casement with glazing bars.
