Description
Pine Cottage and Little Thatch are 18th-century cottages located at Nos 16 and 18 on Green End in Renhold. The buildings feature colour-washed rough cast over a timber frame and have a thatched roof that is half-hipped to the west. They have a four-room plan, are one storey high with attics, and include various architectural details.
The front elevation has a ground floor that consists of a 20th-century casement window, a 20th-century bow window, and two two-light casements with glazing bars, which flank a part-glazed door beneath an open flat-hooded porch. There are three dormers on the roof, each with different casements that also have glazing bars. A red brick double ridge stack is present, and there is a 19th-century one-storey addition with a slate roof on the east gable end. Additionally, a 20th-century one-storey porch has been added to the west gable end, and a 20th-century wing with one storey and attics extends from the rear.
