Description

57 and 57A Top End are two cottages that may have originally been one house. They date from the 17th century and have undergone alterations in the 19th and 20th centuries. The cottages are timber framed with a pebble-dashed exterior and feature a 20th-century tile roof. The overall layout consists of three rooms, with one storey and attics. The front elevation includes two 2-light casement windows on the ground floor and one hipped dormer with a 2-light casement. There is a red brick ridge stack and lean-to extensions at both the left and right ends, as well as on the south gable end.
