Description
Bethany Cottage is a pair of cottages dating from the 17th century. They feature a colour washed rough cast exterior over a timber frame and have a thatched roof. The overall layout consists of four rooms, with one storey and attics. The west elevation includes four two-light casement windows with glazing bars on the ground floor and three eyebrow dormers, also with two-light casements and glazing bars. There is a 20th-century open gabled porch on the right-hand side. The cottages have one red brick double ridge stack and one red brick integral stack on the south gable end. A 19th-century lean-to is located at the rear, along with a 20th-century flat-roofed addition. Additionally, there is a 20th-century one-storey and attic block at a right angle to the north gable.
