Description
The White House is a house dating from the 17th century, with an extension from the 18th century to the west and a 20th-century addition to the east. The exterior features colour washed rough cast over a timber frame and a half-hipped thatched roof. The main block has a three-room plan, with an out storey and attics. On the south elevation, there are three two-light casements with leaded lights on the ground floor, along with three eyebrow dormers that have similar casements. To the left, there is a 20th-century open porch with a thatched hood. The house has one red brick ridge stack and one red brick gable end stack to the east. The 18th-century extension is a single bay of one storey, also with a half-hipped thatched roof, while the 20th-century addition features a pantiled roof.
