Description

Goddard's Green Cottages is a row of cottages located in Benenden. Nos. 2 and 3 are likely from the 18th century or earlier and were probably originally timber-framed, later refaced in the early 19th century. No. 1 is likely from the early 19th century. The cottages feature a red brick ground floor and a tile-hung first floor with a bellcast overhang between them. The left side elevation is timber-framed with plastered infill. They have tiled roofs with three brick chimneystacks and are two storeys high, with a total of five windows. The windows are 19th or 20th century casements, and there are ribbed plank doors. The cottages also have two small gables.
