Description

Finnigans Cottage and Eaton Cottage are a pair of cottages located in Goddard's Green, Benenden, dating from the early 19th century. The cottages are weatherboarded, with the ground floor side elevation constructed of red brick and tile hanging on the rear. They feature a tiled roof with two brick chimneystacks and are two storeys tall with attics, containing three windows. The cottages have mullioned windows and two doorcases, each topped with gabled wooden weather hoods supported by brackets, leading to plank doors. Inside, there are wooden fireplaces. A break in the weatherboarding indicates that there were two separate builds.
