Description

This is a group of three cottages and a laundry, now comprising two cottages, built in 1798. They were constructed for the Goddard estate. The cottages are built of coursed rubble with a 20th-century interlocking tile roof. A stack remains on the right end, while others have been removed. Flush hipped dormers are present. The cottages are one storey high with an attic. They have timber casement windows with splayed stone lintels. Fireplaces are located on the rear wall, and a datestone is situated above the fire beam in the left-hand cottage.
