Description

1 The Planks is a house dating from the 18th to early 19th century. It is built of coursed limestone rubble and has a stone slate roof featuring three hipped dormers and gable stacks. The house has a parallel rear wing that is similar in style but has interlocking tiles. It is two storeys high with an attic and comprises three bays. The entrance is located in a 20th-century hipped porch on the third bay. The windows are later timber casements with splayed stone lintels.
