Description

Greystones is a stable and coach house, dating to the 18th century. Originally serving the Goddard family's demolished estate, 'The Lawn', it is now used as auction rooms. The building is constructed of coursed limestone rubble with a half-hipped, tiled mansard roof, featuring five dormers. It is one storey and attic, and the level changes across the site. A gable stair provides access to the attic. The facade has four bays of 16-panel fielded double doors, each with a segmental head. Attached gate piers are topped with ball finials.
