Description
This is a farmhouse and cottage, dating to the 17th century, originally timber-framed. It was later partly cased and extended in the early 19th century using red brick. Parts of the roof are covered with old clay tiles, while others have new tiles. The original layout was L-shaped, with a gable projecting slightly towards the road, and a double-pile plan extension to the right. The right-hand wing has a 20th-century front door positioned off-centre, accompanied by two 2-light casement windows with glazing bars on each floor; the ground-floor windows have cambered heads. The left-hand gable also features similar casement windows with cambered heads on each floor. A 20th-century extension exists to the left and rear.
