Description

Chantry Cottage is a 18th-century cottage located on the west side of High Street in Yielden. The building features colour washed pebbledash on a timber frame and is topped with thatch. It has a two-room plan with an off-centre front door and two external gable end stacks. The cottage stands two storeys tall and has two three-light casement windows on the ground floor, along with one central single-light casement and two two-light casements on the first floor, all of which include glazing bars. The front door is sheltered by a hipped thatched hood supported by simple brackets.
