Description

Chicheley Cottage and Church Cottage are 17th century cottages located in Yielden. They feature a color-washed rough cast exterior on a timber frame and are topped with thatch. The cottages have a three-room layout and are one storey with attics. There are two red brick ridge stacks, one single and one double. The front door of Chicheley Cottage aligns with the double stack. On the ground floor, there are three 2-light horizontal sash windows with glazing bars. The roof includes three dormers; two on the left with 2-light leaded casements and one on the right with a horizontal sash window featuring glazing bars.
