Farmhouse. Circa C17. Timber-framed cottage, refronted and extended in red brick, to east and north, in C18. The older portion is of two storeys and attic. Brick infill panels to timber frame. Steeply pitched plain tile roof with gabled ends. Two 3-light casements under segmental brick arches to left and right of gabled brick porch. Two 2-light casements at first floor and one gabled attic dormer. One brick ridge chimney stack. To east of older portion with gable at right angles to it is a small (one room) C18 red brick addition on sandstone plinth. Three-light casement and at first floor, 2-light casement, both under segmental brick arches. One tall brick chimney stack. To north (rear) of older portion is larger C18 brick addition. Two storeys with twin gables to north. Large chimney stack with ashlar base and brick stack, projects from east elevation of addition. Interior: chamfered and end stopped ceiling beams to older portion.
