Description

The terrace balustrade, located immediately south-west of Ashorne Hill Management College, was built between 1895 and 1897. It extends approximately 120 meters and is constructed of ashlar stone on a brick plinth. The design features panelled piers and symmetrical balusters topped with a moulded cornice. At one end, there is a bow shape, and there are two flights of steps leading down to a lower level. This balustrade is included for its group value with Ashorne Hill Management College.
