Description

A late 17th-century farmhouse with alterations and additions from the 18th and early 19th centuries. The farmhouse is timber-framed with brick infill and brick refronting, along with a brick addition to the left. It has a tile roof, with a 20th-century hipped section to the left, featuring brick ridges and end stacks.

The exterior is two storeys plus a cellar, with a five-window front. The windows are mostly 20th-century casements of one, two, and three lights, though some are small-paned. A three-storey addition to the left end has windows with 20th-century mock sash windows. A spiral stair leads to a first-floor entrance with a glazed door. Similar windows are found on the left return and the rear, where the earlier section retains square framing and 20th-century casements. A wing extends to the rear.

Inside, there is an open fireplace. The interior features square-framed partition walls, spine beams with run-out stops, flagged floors, an early 19th-century fireplace, and stairs. The roof probably contains queen-post trusses with trenched purlins.
