Farmhouse. C17 with later alterations. Coursed dressed limestone with sandstone quoins; steeply pitched old tile roof with brick end stacks and cross-axial stack. 4-unit plan with single-storey wing to right end. EXTERIOR: 2 storeys; 4-window range. Entrance to right of centre has timber lintel over 6-panel door (4 panels glazed) in moulded frame. Windows have timber lintels; ground floor has large window with C20 casement to left end, 4-light window with iron opening casement, and 2 windows with 2-light casements to right of entrance; first floor has 3-light windows with iron opening casements. Wing has ashlar and dressed stone gable wall with brick alterations to gable head; dressed stone return walls have brick eaves, 3-light casement to inner return. Left return has blocked entrance and ground-floor and first-floor windows; 2-light casement to attic; right return has entrance, 2 small blocked windows to first floor and small attic window. Rear has entrance to left of cross-axial stack; windows have 3-light casements; small blocked light to first floor right of entrance; small shuttered opening to left end. INTERIOR: not inspected.
