Description

Manor Farmhouse is a 17th-century farmhouse located on the south side of Church Lane in Tredington. The building is constructed of squared, coursed lias and limestone, with limestone quoins to the stack. It has a stone slate roof with a stone lateral stack, featuring two ashlar flues linked by a moulded cornice. A 20th-century brick ridge stack is present with a stone base. The farmhouse has a roughly L-shaped plan and two storeys with a three-window front. A plank door with an original wood lintel is positioned at the centre of the front, with a 20th-century three-light casement to the left, featuring an old wood lintel, and a projection of the lateral stack to the left of the door. To the right of the door is a 20th-century three-light casement with a stone flat arch. On the first floor, a 19th-century wood casement with a single opening light is centrally positioned, accompanied by 20th-century casements of 2 and 3 lights to the left and right respectively. Further 20th-century casements are on the right facade, one with an original wood lintel. A small stone mullioned window with two lights provides access to the cellar. A 20th-century gabled wing represents an extension or alteration. The interior has not been inspected, but is likely to be of interest.
