TREDINGTON SP2543 12/201 Wheelwright's Cottage and attached cob wall

GV II

House. Late C18. Squared, coursed limestone, rendered to left. Stone slate roof with brick ridge and end stacks. 2 storeys plus attic; 3-window range. 3-unit plan. Door in C20 range to left. To ground and first floors a range of four and three C20 two-light casements with stone flat arches to ground floor centre and right. Lead County firemark to centre. Two C20 dormers. Interior noted as having chamfered spine beams, and joists. Attached to right of building a length of cob wall with C19 tile coping. Approx. 4m. long and 1.5 to 2m. high. Included for group value.
