Description

The Thursday Shop is an 18th-century cottage built from squared, coursed limestone, featuring a thatched roof and brick end stacks. The building has two storeys and a two-window range, with a two-unit plan. In the center, there is a plank door topped by a 20th-century hood. On either side of the door, there are three-light, 18-pane casements; the left one has a stone lintel with a keyblock, while the right one features a stone flat arch. On the first floor, there are two-light leaded casements with original glass on both sides. The interior has not been inspected but is likely to be of interest.
