Description

Park Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the 17th century or early 18th century, with alterations made in the 19th century. It features a timber frame with brick infill set on a brick plinth, along with a small brick addition. The roof is steeply pitched, composed of both old and renewed tiles, and has a large brick chimney stack as well as a smaller stack, both located at the rear of the ridge. The layout consists of a three-unit plan, with a 19th-century brick extension on the right end.

The exterior is two storeys high and has a three-window range. The entrance, positioned to the right of centre, is framed by a gabled brick porch that includes pilasters and a moulded cornice above an elliptical arch, which features a vermiculated key block and an oculus above. The inner entrance has a Tudor-headed design with a two-panel door in a wooden frame. On the ground floor, there are large windows with three-light 19th-century casements flanking the entrance, along with a two-light casement on the left end. The first floor has similar windows.

The brick wing has a modillioned brick cornice, and its return side features a blocked segmental-headed opening and a hipped bay window with a segmental-headed window above that has a three-light casement. The framing on the right end includes some 19th-century reconstruction. The left return has three-light casements on each floor and a two-light attic window in altered openings. The rear of the farmhouse includes a gabled wing and a lean-to verandah, with two-light and three-light casements, some of which have small panes. The interior has not been inspected.
