Description
Botley Mill Farmhouse is a farmhouse that dates back to the 17th century, with an 18th-century extension and a further 19th-century addition. The left side features small timber-framing with reddish-brown brick nogging, while the rest of the building is constructed from reddish-brown brick with purple brick dressings and has gabled roofs covered in plain tiles, forming an E-plan layout.
The exterior is two storeys high, plus an attic on the right, and has a seven-window range. There are brick quoins on the central projection. The entrance, located off-centre to the left, features a plank door with a moulded wood frame, and to the left of the entrance are 20th-century casement windows, while the rest of the building has 2- and 3-light casements with glazing bars, particularly in the centre where they are framed by brick quoins. A modillion cornice is present at the centre of the building.
Inside, the left side has partition walls that include small timber-framing, along with exposed beams and rafters.
