GV II

House. C17 rear range with front probably 1757 (dated on beam), with later additions and alterations. Brick with painted pebbledash facade and timber-framed brick range to rear. Gabled roof with renewed tiles, brick end stacks with cornices and C17 rear stack to rear range. EXTERIOR: 2 storeys; 2-window range. Range to rear at left of one-and-a-half storeys and further outshut. Central part-glazed 4-panel door. 6/6 sashes throughout. Exposed original purlins to rear range. INTERIOR: range to rear has quite extensive exposed panels of square framing. Chamfered beams, moulded cornices and 6-panel doors to front part. Plank dividing wall to first floor. Forms a group with No.6 (qv). (Victoria County History: Warwickshire: 165-175).
