Description

The obelisk at Umberslade Park is a Grade II listed structure, erected in 1749 for the first Lord Archer. It is made of limestone ashlar and features a stepped square plinth with a moulded cornice. The tall square-section obelisk is topped with a ball finial and a metal spike that once held a star. This obelisk was designed as an eye-catcher for Umberslade Hall and is part of a group with Obelisk Farmhouse.
