Description

This is an 18th-century obelisk, likely erected for Earl Bathurst, located at the southeast end of Cirencester Park Mansion. It is made of limestone ashlar and has a square plan with a shallow pointed top. The obelisk features a Doric base set on a deep moulded plinth.
