A threshing barn with cow sheds at the rear, now converted into three houses, dating to around 1800. The structure may incorporate an earlier building, with later additions to the rear and conversion work completed around 1988. The barn is constructed of red brick in English bond, set upon a plinth of coursed lias stone, and has gabled plain-tile roofs. It has an L-shaped layout.

The barn range consists of six bays, divided into two sections of three bays each. Each section originally had wagon entrances in the central bay, with the southern side’s western wagon entrance featuring a projecting porch with a hipped roof and a brick dentil eaves cornice. These openings have now been infilled with vertical weatherboarding and glazing. Added outshuts are positioned on either side of the wagon porch, covered by catslide roofs. The north wall includes a 20th-century entrance to the west section, a three-light window at eaves level, and another entrance in the east gable end. The east gable end reveals exposed purlins. The cow shed range, built in two stages, has a split stable door under a cambered arch and inserted casement windows. The rear elevation, now the main facade, features five two- and three-light casement windows, a 20th-century entrance door, and a cart entrance which has been glazed.

Inside the barn range are pegged king post trusses, and double purlins with wind braces in several bays. The cart shed range has four collar-and-tie-beam trusses with angle struts. The building forms a group with Hill House.
