Description

Bicker's Court Farmhouse is a farmhouse that has been converted into two houses. It likely dates from the mid to late 16th century and has undergone some alterations since then. The building is constructed of reddish-brown brick in mainly stretcher bond and features a plain-tile roof.

The farmhouse is two storeys high and has three windows on the first floor. The central entrance consists of a part-glazed door set in plain reveals, with a wooden doorcase that includes Doric pilasters, a frieze, and a hood. On either side of the entrance, there are 8/8 sash windows, while the first floor has 6/6 sash windows, all of which are set under elliptical arches and have sills. There are stacks at the right end and at the rear of the building.

Inside, the front room on the right features an inglenook fireplace with a large chamfered bressumer beam. The rear left room also has an inglenook fireplace, which includes a chamfered bressumer and a bread oven. This room is further characterized by a chamfered beam with meat hooks.
