Farmhouse, now 2 houses. Probably mid/late C16 with later alterations. Reddish-brown brick in mainly stretcher bond with plain-tile roof. EXTERIOR: 2 storeys, 3 first-floor windows. Central entrance: part-glazed door in plain reveals, wooden doorcase has Doric pilasters with frieze and hood. One 8/8 sash right and left; first floor has 6/6 sashes, all windows under elliptical arches and with sills. Right end and rear stacks. INTERIOR: front room at right has inglenook fireplace with huge chamfered bressumer beam; to rear left room a second inglenook fireplace with chamfered bressumer and bread oven, this room has chamfered beam with meat hooks.
