Description

Nichol Farmhouse is a farmhouse that has been converted into two houses. It dates from the 16th century and was clad around 1700. The building is timber framed and covered with red brick, topped with a plain tiled roof. It features a lobby entry plan with a rear wing. The farmhouse is two storeys high and has moulded eaves beneath a hipped roof, which includes a gablet on the left side and a stack on the centre left, along with doubled and offset stacks projecting from the right end. There are three glazing bar sash windows on each floor and a half-glazed door located to the centre left, which is sheltered by a 19th-century hipped porch.
