Description

The Mounted Rifleman is a public house dating from the 18th century. It features a red and blue chequered brick façade and a plain tiled roof. The building has two storeys and an attic, along with a basement. It has a plinth and a corbelled brick eaves cornice beneath a half-hipped roof, which includes two hipped dormers and a central chimney stack. On the ground floor, there are two wooden casement windows with segmental heads, and a central entrance door with four panels and a flat hood above. The basement has an opening to the left.
