Description

The Old Rectory is a house dating from the 16th century, originally listed as the Old Vicarage. It is timber framed and largely exposed, with plaster infill between the framing members. The roof is thatched, and the building exhibits a three-bay layout with a lobby entry. It is two storeys in height, featuring a continuous jetty supported on dragon posts. A central left stack rises from the roof, which is hipped. The first floor has four wooden casement windows, and the ground floor has three, along with a plank and stud door positioned centrally to the left. The right return front has a mullioned oriel window.
