Description

Hawkes and Beetles Farmhouse is a 16th-century house featuring a timber frame with exposed close studding and plaster infill. The roof is plain tiled and the building has an irregular plan with an entrance located in a recessed side wing. It stands two storeys high on a flint plinth and has a continuous jetty supported by dragon posts. The roof is hipped, with a stack positioned at the rear right. On the first floor, there are four wooden casements, while the ground floor has two casements and a large central 20th-century bay window supported by brackets. The entry is through a boarded door set in a four-centred arched doorway located in the recessed wing to the right.
