Description

Botley Hill Farmhouse is an early 16th-century moated farmhouse, significantly rebuilt and renovated in the 20th century, with later additions to the rear. The structure has close-studded timber framing with arched braces, with a jettied section to the right, featuring painted brick infill and a renewed plain-tile roof. The house is arranged in an L-shape.

The exterior is two storeys high with a seven-window front. A gabled, two-storey entrance porch projects forward, containing an arched doorway with a plank door. There are two- and three-light casement windows throughout. On the right-hand gable end, the first-floor tie beam is surmounted by original close studding (renewed at ground floor level), which includes arched braces and ornamental panelling to the gable. End and ridge stacks are present.

The interior was not inspected during the listing assessment.
