Description

No. 21 High Street is a shop that was originally built as a dwelling above, dating from around 1800. The building features Flemish bond brickwork and has a renewed concrete tiled roof. It is three stories high and has three bays. Although the ground floor has been rebuilt, the original window openings remain intact above, showcasing flat arched stuccoed heads with voussoirs and keystones. One of the upper windows still retains a 12-pane sash, while the others have been replaced. The building also has a dentilled eaves band and a gable end stack. It is included in the listing for its group value.
