Description
No. 104 High Street is a house with a shop, featuring an early to mid 19th century front but likely retains original fabric from the 17th century. The top floor was rebuilt in the 20th century. The building has Flemish bond brickwork and a concrete tile roof. The attic, which has a hipped roof, is set back above the main frontage. It is three storeys tall with an attic and has three windows. The windows are four-pane sashes with wooden cills, and there is a 20th century shop front with a deep fascia. A mid string course is rendered. The previous listing from 1973 noted that the second floor had two-light casements with a transom. The interior has not been inspected. This property is included for its group value.
