Description
No. 107 High Street is a narrow frontage house that includes a shop, dating from the late 18th century to early 19th century. It features Flemish bond brickwork and a tiled roof. The building has three storeys and a single window. The tall four-pane sash windows are topped with V-joint lintels and have stooled stone cills. The shop front, from the 19th century, includes panelled pilasters leading to decorative consoles, and a decorative cast-iron cresting that spans the full width. A 19th-century glazed door is set back on the left side with a panelled reveal. On the right side, there is a lead hopper-head and downpipe. The coped parapet has been rebuilt, and the roof is hipped. The interior has not been inspected, but the building is mainly of interest for its shop front.
