Description
This building, located at 22, 23, and 23A High Street in Stourport on Severn, is a pair of shops that were originally constructed with dwellings above around 1800. The structure features a stucco exterior over brick and a Welsh slate roof. It is three stories tall and divided into two unequal units, each consisting of two bays. The early 20th-century shop fronts have slender wooden shafts and paired console brackets supporting the fascia. To the right, there is a pedimented doorway that leads to a passage. The upper windows are 12-pane sashes, although some have been replaced within their original openings. The building at number 23 includes two corbelled canted bays, angle quoins, a plain eaves band, and a gable end stack. This building is included in the register for its group value.
